The devotees of ISKCON Bangalore have conceived the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir project aspiring to create a world-class, iconic monument for Sri Krishna in the holy land of Vrindavan in pursuance of Srila Prabhupada's direction.

The site of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir is located on the Bhaktivedanta Swami Marg, which is the main access to Vrindavan town. The skyscraper temple-cum-heritage project will consist of a magnificent temple of Lord Sri Krishna at its centre, and harmoniously combine elements of both Indian temple architecture and modern architecture. Our project will represent the culture and heritage of the sacred land of Braj. The architecture will be inspired by two prominent, ancient temples of Vrindavan - Sri Madanmohanji Mandir and Sri Radha Govindji Temple.

Apart from housing a temple for the worship of Lord Sri Krishna, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will also become a centre for disseminating the profound message of the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam, delivered in a modern context.  This cultural complex will attract the world's thinkers, leaders, and other enquiring minds to know more about Lord Sri Krishna and His soothing, healing message for a harried world.

The ancient history of Braj, centered around Krishna, has been celebrated in art, music, song, literature, poetry, dance and drama. Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will play an important part in realising the heritage and cultural tourism potential of Braj. Our project will lay down the roadmap for the all-inclusive development and well-being of the region.

The South wing of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir is set for a grand inauguration during the year of 2024.

We invite all of you to participate in this grand project and join us in our vision to place Krishna on the world mindscape and Vrindavan on the world map.
